Tim Burdick '89

Tim Burdick '89 came back to Dartmouth to help lead Dartmouth Outdoor Programs and the Dartmouth Outing Club. What more can you ask for in life?

Yes, he uses Geography in a variety of ways! Remember Bob Huke's "morphologic eye?" Remember field work in the Second College Grant? How about Laura Conkey's tree ring lab with spruce from Mt. Moosilauke? Tim is working with several departments to build a database of research (bibiolography and data

sets) from the Grant and Moosilauke.  They are also installing several meteorology stations on these lands to facilitate a variety of projects and updating several cabins to make them more comfortable and useful for academic classes, student projects, and researchers. They developed partnerships with several other colleges.
