Rena Schwartz '22 and Joseph Earles '24

Rena Schwartz '22 and Joseph Earles '24 won the first-place award of the student poster competition in the NEARC Spring 2022 Conference (Northeast Arc Users Conference), held in the Westfield State University (MA) on May 16. The title of the winning poster is "Lyme Disease and Land Cover in Massachusetts", which is based on their research on the association between Lyme Disease and land cover fragmentation in Massachusetts. The work is part of an NSF EPSCoR project on tickborne diseases(Dartmouth is a major participating institution of the project). They created their digital poster with ArcGIS' StoryMap tool. The research was under the advisory of Drs.
