Madeline Duhnoski '23 Attends 2022 ESRI User Conference During NASA Internship

Madeline Duhnoski attended the 2022 ESRI User Conference in San Diego as part of her summer internship with NASA. Over the summer, Madeline's team worked on developing a new information hub relating to wildfire research called the Actionable Fire Science Information Hub (AFSI Hub). At the conference, she had the opportunity to run the team's booth on the expo floor. She got to talk to everyone who was interested in what NASA was building, demo their site, and learn about other people's connections to geospatial data. Through these interactions, Madeline learned a lot about remote sensing, geospatial analysis, and professional opportunities in the field of geography.
