Assaf is a visiting scholar working with Justin Mankin's Climate Modeling and Impacts Group. His research focuses on quantifying regional patterns of climate change using machine learning and complementary statistical methods, with applications spanning climate variability, climate mitigation, and the rate of climate change. He is open to collaborations across climate science, impacts research, and machine learning applications.
