Robert Fofrich
Appointments
Postdoctoral Research Associate
Biography
Robert is a postdoctoral research associate in the Climate Modeling & Impacts Group at Dartmouth College. He earned his Ph.D. in Earth System Science from the University of California, Irvine, in 2022, where his research focused on energy decarbonization and climate risks to agriculture. He develops methods to attribute extreme weather events to anthropogenic activity and to link climate-related damages to polluting entities. Previously, he was a University of California President’s Postdoctoral Fellow and has held research appointments at the University of California Los Angeles, the Climate Impact Lab, Rutgers University, and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA JPL).
