[more]Dam removal in the United States is an increasingly attractive option for advocates of river restoration. Sneddon, Magilligan, and Fox use dam removal in New England as a lens for examining state actors' capabilities to govern environmental processes.
[more]Geography major Rachel Kent '21 was awarded a Fulbright Fellowship to complete a Master of Gastronomy: World Food Cultures and Mobility at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Italy. Through the grant, she is fully funded to spend a year in Italy studying food sustainability and sovereignty and getting hands-on experience with a variety of food systems. Rachel is currently writing a Geography senior thesis advised by Professor Patricia Lopez on geographies of more-than-human care on small-scale farms.
